Experience

Bonomo Environmental Compliance was founded by Adam Bonomo to provide specialized consulting services focused on industrial pretreatment programs, NPDES compliance, and industrial wastewater regulatory support.

Adam has experience in both the public and private sectors of the water and wastewater industry, including previous service as the State Pretreatment Coordinator with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC). In that role, he worked directly with municipalities, regulators, and industrial users and oversaw more than 100 municipal pretreatment programs throughout Tennessee.

Prior to founding Bonomo Environmental Compliance, Adam provided consulting and compliance support for municipalities and industrial clients across multiple states. His experience includes pretreatment program development, industrial user permitting, industrial waste surveys, headworks analysis and local limits development, enforcement program support, and regulatory compliance assistance related to wastewater treatment and industrial discharges. He also has experience managing and supporting water and wastewater compliance, operations, and infrastructure-related projects.

Bonomo Environmental Compliance was established to provide practical, technically sound consulting services that help clients navigate complex environmental regulations while supporting compliance and protecting wastewater treatment operations.
